A 10-year-old girl was found brain dead at home by her parents, after challenge suffocation through TikTok.
A 10-year-old girl was found unconscious on Thursday at his home in Palermo, Italy with a belt tied around his neck. His parents immediately took him to the local hospital in Palermo, where he was found to be brain dead.
According to the police authorities, the girl drowned by herself, according to duration a challenging Blackout through the TikTok social networking platform. Her parents decided to donate the girl's organs.
The Blackout Challenge, and a milder variant of it, called the Passout Challenge, were released on TikTok last year.
Experts have warned of the dangers associated with the challenges, such as fainting, seizures, brain damage and even death.
