15 months in prison for illegal bitcoin mining

An Australian court has found an IT manager who was hired by a company in Australia to perform data archiving and software. The reason was that this man took advantage of his employer's supercomputer by modifying its data, in order to conduct illegal and unlicensed cryptocurrency mining.
