Microsoft has begun developing a new Outlook.com beta today. It's a web-only beta that's activated via the “try the beta” command in Outlook.com, and should be available to all users within the next few weeks.
This is the third in a row planning of Outlook.com from 2012. Microsoft informs that its new design Outlook.com will bring improved discussion view, and the ability to read and attach files much faster.
The new search interface is at the top of the inbox now, not the side. The new Outlook environment will preview files and photos in your chat list, making it more straightforward to preview in a specific email with attachments. Microsoft has also made it easier to find people in your inbox by designating people as favorites.
Outlook.com beta includes popular GIFs and emojis that can be inserted into emails along with a search interface to search for them.
Microsoft plans to add new features over the coming months, including updates to the Outlook.com calendar. You can participate in the beta version via the link, and there is also a switch that allows you to return to the normal version of Outlook.com if you do not like it. Microsoft asks you for all of the features.
