Gmail access without giving your password

Gmail: Sharing your password with others is a big one trust. Of course you might ask why share your password with others?

A good example is the email of a company, where many people may need to monitor inbox or be able to respond to a corporate account, say info@iguru.gr.

Below we will see how it works with Gmail delegates. With this feature, you can give someone access to your account without revealing your password.

You can add up to 10 people with a regular account and up to 25 with a school or work account.

The antii (delegates) can read, send and delete to your Gmail account.

When one is sent email from a representative, their email address will also appear in the message.

Dealers can manage your Gmail contacts, but they can not change any of your settings, including your password. Of course they can not chat with anyone on your behalf.

How to Add Authorized Users to Gmail

Go to Settings > Accounts & Import or Accounts and Import.
In the Grant access to your account box, click Add another account.gmail

Choose whether the messages read by the authorized users you add will be marked as read or not. When prompted, enter the email address of the person you want to grant access to your account, then confirm that you want to share access with your account.

Your agent will receive an email with a link to which he / she should click within seven days of receiving the message or otherwise the link will expire. Google says it will take about 30 minutes for it to start working, and then your agent can see and send you emails.
