As we have already mentioned, the free upgrade offer of the Windows 10 για τους χρήστες που χρησιμοποιούν τεχνολογίες υποβοήθησης είναι ακόμα διαθέσιμη και μετά την κυκλοφορία του Fall Creators Update.
However, it seems Microsoft is finally planning to end this offer, closing the unique void that allowed users to upgrade to Window 10 for free.
Let's see what happened from the beginning:
In July 2015, when Microsoft introduced Windows 10, it offered the new operating system for free to anyone running Windows 7 or Windows 8 on their PCs for the first 12 months. A year later, the company supposedly ended that offer, but continued to allow users who use assistive technologies to upgrade to Windows 10 at no charge.
If you use assistive technologies, you can upgrade to Window 10 for free as Microsoft continues its efforts to improve the Window 10 experience for people using these technologies.
With the Windows 10 Anniversary Update, we've taken some action to improve the accessibility of Windows 10. To learn more, read the blog that details some of these improvements.
Before you upgrade, contact your assistive technology provider to learn more about their compatibility software them with Windows 10.
If you now want Windows 10 and you are ready to take advantage of the upgrade offer, select the button below to get started.

Although at first glance it looked like a welcome offer for anyone using assistive technologies, it was no secret that many users of Windows 7 and 8.1 used this method to upgrade to Windows 10 for free because they did not need any verification.
In other words, there were no controls on the functions of the assistive technologies operating in a system, so the upgrading to Windows 10 was still completely free.
Microsoft itself explained that "we do not limit the offer of upgrades to specific assistive technologies. If you use Windows assistive technology, you have the right to offer an upgrade. ”
However, Microsoft has decided to close this gap and now states on the upgrade page that "the upgrade offer expires on December 31, 2017."
This means that the gap will be no more available from January 1st, so if you want to upgrade to Windows 10 for free, you better do it within the next 2 months.
