Η Google ανακοίνωσε ότι η σταθερή build του Chrome ενημερώθηκε στην έκδοση 33.0.1750.146 για όλες τις platforms. A total of 19 were identified and fixed in the latest release issues security, by various researchers as well as members of Google's security team.
As always, Google rewards researchers who reported the vulnerabilities. A fairly large prize was won by Attes Kettunen of OUSPG (1.000 dollars) to identify a use-after-free security issue in SVG images.
Khalil Zhani got $500 for finding a similar vulnerability in recognition speech. The researcher cloudfuzzer discovered another security gap, (Heap buffer overflow in software rendering) and for his seriousness he was rewarded by Google with 2000 dollars.
Google's team of security researchers also identified some vulnerabilities that could be exploited by hackers. The full list of vulnerabilities fixed in version 33.0.1750.146, is on the Google page.
