Several Peruvian government websites, such as the government portal peru.gob.pe, have been violated and deformed by team hackers LulzSec Peru.
Except peru.gob.pe, hackers have deformed and its websites CERT of the country (pecert.gob.pe), the National Office for Electronic Government and Information Technology (ongei.gob.pe), and two websites of the Service Portal for Citizens and Businesses (serviceosalciudadano.gob.pe, tramites.gob.pe ).
In addition to the deformation of the websites, its hackers LulzSec Peru some data that allegedly been stolen by peru.gob.pe and ongei.gob.pe have also leaked.
The hackers claim that the Peruvian websites and the email servers hosted by Global Crossing, a company bought by an American communications company 2011. The LulzSec Peru team believes the telecommunications company is helping the US National Security Service (NSA) with surveillance programs.
Currently, some of the targeted websites have been restored while others are still offline.
