The pro-Palestinian group hackers self-proclaimed KDMS Team violated her website Metasploit, a leading security company, using a fax machine.
The hack was a simple redirection of the DNS, which allowed the attackers to change the files they say in the browsers that are the Web Server of the website. As you can see, the hit was not directly on the web server but in the DNS which redirected visitors to another site.
"We are in the process of assessing the situation," said Rapid7, Metasploit's parent company, "but it looks like the site was hacked through a fake DNS change request that arrived at Register.com by fax." We apologize for the inconvenience. "
