Microsoft wants to buy Winamp

Yesterday we published AOL's decision to cease development and distribution ς Winamp. The application will officially stop at 20 December 2013, but as it turns out the media player is very dear to end so ghastly.

Microsoft is reportedly interested in acquiring AOL media player and Shoutcast. There is no official confirmation from Redmond yet, but as reported by the authority TechCrunch, citing anonymous sources, that Microsoft and AOL are already in communication.
A possible deal that could be announced on December 20, the i.e. when Winamp's retirement has been announced.
