In a previous post we mentioned that the Mozilla Foundation added an extremely useful one feature command line to Firefox. We have already seen her command screenshot allowing you to get one screenshot από μια ιστοσελίδα ή από ολόκληρο το παράθυρο του προγράμματος περιήγησης. Σήμερα θα δούμε μια πολύ πρακτική εντολή, ειδικά για αυτούς που ασχολούνται με graphics ή με το Web Development.
It is the eyedropper command that gives you the ability to get the HTML code for the color you are interested in from a web page. So you will no longer need to install third-party tools or add-ons, since you can do it directly from the web page while browsing with Firefox.
Let's see how it works
Open the Firefox browser and press the keys together Shift + F2. Firefox will open a command line at the bottom of your screen.
Type the following text in the command pane just opened:
eyedropper
As soon as you press the Enter key on your keyboard, your mouse pointer will turn into a round zoomable preview window. Hover right over the desired color to see the color's HTML code! When you click this box again, the color code will automatically be copied to the clipboard so you can paste it wherever you want.
The eyedropper command is really useful for designers who use Adobe Photoshop or for those who write their own CSS on their website. It's really a quick way to get a color code that interests you. Enjoy the new feature.
