Η search of the creator of the Bitcoin digital currency came to an end as Australian Mr. Craig Wright revealed that he developed Bitcoin, even providing evidence to the BBC, the Economist and GQ.
The verification of Mr. Craig Wright's claims was done by certain specific parts of bitcoin (bitcoin blocks) which are known to have been originally mined by Nakamoto.
“It's the lot that was used for the Mission 10 bitcoins to Hal Finney (a technician who also played a major role in the success of bitcoin) in January (of 2009) in the first bitcoin transaction,” Craig Wright told the media.
Why is this revelation now?
Wright had been mentioned as the creator of Bitcoin in the past, but shortly after these claims were made in the media, his home was looted by tax and police.
The maker of the digital coin today put an end to speculation and according to the BBC he said:
"Now the lawyers have taken on how much I have to pay. I do not wish this had happened. I want to keep doing what I love. I do not want money. I do not want glory. I do not want fame. I do not want worship. I just want you to leave me alone. ”
Of course, that he does not want fame and money is admirable, although Mr. Wright has according information one million bitcoins, which today are worth about $450 million.
