The strange thing about the above story is that The Verge, although a trusted site says it supports its information on an anonymous source, while TorrentFreak, which is at the center of the torrent sites, does not mention anything about KAT.am.
TorrentFreak reports that none of the mods had access to the files with the source code of the page. So if the story of The Verge is true, some admin should pick up the KAT.am. But he did not invite the other members of the team who are still in the team Katcr.co;
