According to the Greek Hacking Scene e-mail we received, the site was deformed, and it remained so around 3 hours until the administrators took it. 
The group mentions in their email that their purpose was not to harm but to send a message to all Greeks and the government.
So even though they had the ability not to hack files and data of the server hosting the page.
