In ESET's latest research, an important place is the topic of threats on mobile devices and, in particular, ransomware that attacks the Android platform by encrypting files and locking the screen. Another key point where ESET will focus in Barcelona will be the European regulation of personal data protection. Findings from research conducted by IDC on behalf of ESET will be presented to ESET executives information technologys from various European countries regarding data protection and the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
