Microsoft has just begun running the Teams application, a Slack competitor, through the World XMUMX subscription.
The service was announced by the end of 2016 and aims to provide an instant messaging application in every workplace that works neatly with Office and threaded messages (something that Slack can not do it yet).
Today's release comes along with some new features such as calls audio from mobile devices and video calls from the devices Android (for iOS and Windows Phone έρχονται σύντομα).
Microsoft has even released a video with some of the new features available from the service announcement.
Let's mention that Slack was the dominant one company in the space for quite some time now, and has the advantage that its platform is stable and highly agnostic. But it is not connected to Office, the Google Docs or any other service.
Microsoft, on the other hand, says that it does not want Teams to become a solution aimed exclusively at Office users, but that it is open to integration into as many services Would you like.
