That's it German testing laboratory AV-TEST conducted a new survey on Windows 10 to determine the best products security for the latest version of the Microsoft operating system, Update Creators (version 1703).
This time, four different companies managed to get the maximum result for their products. Each of them managed to gather 6 at 6 grades for protection, performance and usability during the tests.
Companies are: Avira, Kaspersky, Symantec and Trend Micro, while Bitdefender and McAfee security companies are coming close to near-top scorers.
The Bitefender application, for example, which has long been one of the world's leading antivirus, has managed to gather 6 points for protection and performance, but only 5,5 units in usability.
McAfee, on the other hand, had 6 units in performance and usability, but lost 0,5 points to protection tests.
A critical test for Windows 10 Creators Update users was also carried out on Microsoft's antivirus, as the OS system Comes with Windows Defender enabled by default.
Windows Defender has evolved into the Windows Defender Security Center on the Creators Update by grouping all the security features available on the operating system.
In the new tests conducted by AV-TEST, Microsoft has managed to catch 15 points, 5,5 degrees for protection, 5 grades for performance and 4,5 grades for usability.
Windows Defender was able to receive almost the maximum rating for protection on Windows 10 systems in testing which means it is blocked almost all malware samples.
The worst of the antivirus in this test cycle was itss Comfortable, which disappointed once again, despite the fact that it excluded all malware samples. The application took 2 units for performance as it significantly slowed the system and 4,5 units for usability.
