SOS Alerts: H Google with a new feature, provides all users with easy access to information submitted in times of crisis. The company is reportedly launching a new feature that helps everyone who has an internet connection stay safe in situations of natural disasters.
The so-called SOS Alerts feature will contain many tools through Search and Maps. It is designed to display valid local information, emergency telephone lines and websites, as well as various translations of useful phrases and terms.
Users in proximity to affected areas may also receive alerts on their mobile devices, which will lead to the information we mentioned above.
The new feature will also make it easy for those who are not close to the affected areas to find information that helps them understand what really happened. Searches for affected events or affected locations will show SOS alerts to provide a timely overview of the situation as well as facilities to show your donation support.
To provide such detailed reports in real time, Google is reported to have worked with various emergency agencies, such as the Red Cross and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
With SOS Alerts available, Google will have four emergency technology products with Person Finder, Crisis Map and Public Alerts.
Google is not the only company that seeks to use technology to create a safer community.
The Facebook has been running its own security controls for a long time.
