SOS Alerts: H Google with a new feature, offers all users easy access to information submitted in times of crisis. The company is reportedly launching a new feature that helps everyone connected to the internet stay safe in disaster situations.
The so-called SOS Alerts feature will contain several tools through Search and Maps. It is designed to display valid local information, emergency telephone lines need and websites, as well as various translations of useful phrases and terms.
Users within walking distance of affected areas may also receive mobile alerts Appliances which will lead to the information mentioned above.
The new feature will also make it easy for those who are not close to the affected areas to find information that helps them understand what really happened. Searches for affected events or affected locations will show SOS alerts to provide a timely overview of the situation as well as facilities to show your donation support.
To offer such detailed real-time reports, Google has reportedly partnered with various emergency organizations such as Red Cross and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
With SOS Alerts available, Google will have four emergency technology products with Person Finder, Crisis Map and Public Alerts.
Google is not the only company that seeks to use technology to create a safer community.
