To start using Allo on your computer, you will need to open Allo on your phone and then scan a QR code that is provided on the website of Allo.
Some features will continue to exist exclusively on mobile:
Link, switch, or remove Google accounts
Add or remove members from an existing group
Back up your information
Notification and privacy settings
Some chat features, such as taking pictures, deleting a chat, blocking contacts, or starting a chat with someone who is not in your contacts.
Η company announced that iPhone users will soon be able to use Allo on their desktop as well.
Google recommends Allo users to update to the latest version of Android before using the web version.
Allo supports Google Assistant, one software AI that allows users to gather information from news, movies, restaurants, directions and more.
Google also offers its users the communication applications Hangouts, Duo, and YouTube Chat.
