Contact by phonetransport; Researchers at Shanghai Jiao Tong University published recently a document which claims to have sent particles of light through seawater that has never been done before.
The team was able to transmit entanglement particles over three meters of seawater in an isolated environment. Although the event is not going to secure our communications across the seas, it is the first step towards bringing the quantum solution Internet on a globe covered by oceans.
It's interesting because we're now talking about teleportation. Quantum entanglement is an extremely complex one procedure which requires taking one laser through a crystal optic network to create eblueof produced photons.
According to the Shanghai team, they will be able to extend the range of communication from the three water meters that were initially tested to at least 900 meters.
If quantum networking is the future of the Internet (many experts believe it is) we should understand how to overcome the limitations of fiber optic cables.
