Microsoft has today confirmed that the next major operating system update Windows 10 Fall Creators Update will be released on October 17, 2017.

The official publication in the Windows Blog for the upcoming Windows 10 Creators Fall Update made by Terry Myerson, Executive Vice President, Windows and Devices Group, and highlights some of the new features of the Fall Creators update and which products benefit from them.

Windows Inking: Smart Ink uses artificial intelligence to enhance the ink experience. You can also "ink" directly to PDF documents and use the new Windows "Find my Pen" feature to find your pen if you miss it.
Photos and Videos: Η application Photos has been redesigned and you can use it to tell “stories with photos, videos, music, 3D and even ink”.
OneDrive: On-demand records are returned.
Games: Gameplay has been updated and new Xbox Play Anywhere games are coming, including Forza Motorsport 7 and Cuphead.
Security: Windows Defender has new defense capabilities against ransomware and exploits.
Accessibility: New Eye-Control for Controlling Windows Using Eye Movement.
Windows Mixed Reality: H device Windows Mixed Reality will be available on October 17 starting at $299. It promises easier setup and handling as it's only one you need to plug into the computer.
