Microsoft confirmed today that the next major update of the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update will be released on October 17 2017.

Windows Inking: Smart Ink uses artificial intelligence to enhance the ink experience. You can also "ink" directly to PDF documents and use the new Windows "Find my Pen" feature to find your pen if you miss it.
Photos and Videos: The Photos app has been redesigned and you can use it to tell “stories with photos, , music, 3D and even with ink”.
OneDrive: On-demand records are returned.
Games: Gameplay has been updated and new Xbox Play Anywhere games are coming, including Forza Motorsport 7 and Cuphead.
Security: Windows has new features to defend against ransomware and exploits.
Accessibility: New Eye-Control for Controlling Windows Using Eye Movement.
Windows Mixed Reality: The Windows mixed reality device will be available on 17 October starting at 299 dollars. It promises easier setup and handling, as it's just one you need to connect to the computer.

Microsoft's hardware partners (OEMs) have announced a whole host of new devices and Microsoft chose to highlight some of them from the Windows blog.

Mixed reality devices in Windows from: Acer, Asus, Dell, HP and Lenovo to release Mixed Reality headsets.
