YouTube mp3.org: One of the most popular free sites for converting YouTube videos to MP3 may soon be shut down by the music industry.
The administrator YouTube-mp3.org, who was accused by the Recording Industry Association of America or RIAA last year, apparently agreed to surrender his site as reported by TorrentFreak. So the RIAA seems to hold the domain.
In exchange for no further prosecution, Mr website YouTube mp3 will stop working. For now it seems to work but when you try to convert some video it shows some message error.
Meanwhile RIAA it will not only take control of the domain. According to the announcement published by TorrentFreak (PDF), the webmaster should not "design, develop, offer or exploit any technology or service that permits or facilitates a practice commonly known as 'streamripping.'"
