Google has just released a new version of Chrome browser for all supported desktop operating systems by sending a total of 22 code fixes for the latest vulnerabilities.
Currently in 61.0.3163.79, the Google Chrome comes with corrections for six different vulnerabilities characterized as "high risk" and discovered by external researchers. Each of these 3 errors was awarded $ 5.000, according to Google's funding program for Chrome.
In addition to the security updates in the code, Google Chrome 61 also introduces a host of other features and enhancements, including video options, making the browser not automatically expand to full screen when the device rotates in an orientation that does not match the screen .
The new version of Google Chrome is available for GNU / Linux, MacOS, and Microsoft Windows. If you are already running Chrome, just go to Menu> Help> About Coogle Chrome and the built-in auto-update engine will download and install the new version automatically. This will require a restart of the browser.
