It seems that Ubuntu 32bit will follow the same path as other important distributions. Canonical will stop releasing ISOs for installations on 32bit systems from the next releases.
Canonical's Dimitri John Ledkov sent one message via their release team mailing list, instructing them not to release 32bit ISOs for the upcoming Ubuntu release.
Ledkov states:
“Dear Release team, please follow below and remove Ubuntu ISOs desktop i386 daily-live from the Beta and Final releases of 17.10.”
The Manjaro distribution did exactly the same and we can now be sure that many more distributions will follow.
I have Ubuntu 32bit what do I do?
The users of Ubuntu that have 32-bit machines need not worry, as just like with the Manjaro, will be able to upgrade to the latest version (when released) on their 32bit system.
The above announcement only affects users who want to install Ubuntu from scratch through an ISO.

Of course there will continue to be many notable distributions that will continue to support 32bit systems.
Indicatively we will mention the Antix the MX Linux and Sparky Linux which are also quite user friendly.
