One of the most innovative features recently released by Apple is Face ID, exclusively for the iPhone X. It is a Face Recognition system that uses 3D detection cameras, and Apple reports that there is a chance in 1.000.000 to be able to unlock the iPhone with your face.
Anyway, I think both sides are right. Google's Pixel devices, which it introduced right after the iPhone X launch, are a masterpiece of technology, with a single camera that delivers better than double the iPhones.
