Developer Stephen Downward is devilishly genius: Discover a YouTube prank you can make on friends and foes with an insidious Chrome extension.
The innocuous name of the Chrome extension slows down the playback of video on YouTube by 1 percent each day until it reaches 70 percent of the original video speed.
Install the extension on a friend or colleague's computer and watch them download it hair them as they try to figure out what's going on with their videos.
The extension will work on many more computers if the prank victim has synchronized the Chrome they use on multiple devices with the same account. Note that even changing the playback speed with the YouTube controls will not help, because the extension will immediately compensate for any change the user chooses.
If you are tough enough and want to try a prank on a friend's computer, visit the repository of the developer on GitHub from the victim's computer, and do click in the link “chrome-engine-packed.crx.” Then do λήψη extension by clicking on the “Raw” link.
Then go to "chrome: // extensions" and you'll see your browser extensions management page.
Drag the downloaded .CRX file to this page and click on choice 'Installation'.
Once installed, a Chrome logo will appear alongside the extension "button" next to the address bar. You can if you want to hide it by selecting it with one right click on the menu.
Then you have to wait. Hold on until hell begins for your boyfriend.
We wish you good luck and we ask you not to torture your victims too much.
