However, it seems Microsoft is finally planning to end this offer, closing the unique void that allowed users to upgrade to Window 10 for free.

Although at first glance it looked like a welcome offer for anyone using assistive technologies, it was no secret that many users of Windows 7 and 8.1 used this method to upgrade to Windows 10 for free because they did not need any verification.
In other words, there were no controls on the functions of the assistive technologies operating in a system, so the upgrading to Windows 10 was still completely free.
Microsoft itself explained that "we do not limit the offer of upgrades to specific assistive technologies. If you use Windows assistive technology, you have the right to offer an upgrade. ”
However, Microsoft has decided to close this gap and now states on the upgrade page that "the upgrade offer expires on December 31, 2017."
This means that the gap will no longer be available from January 1st, so if you want to upgrade to Windows 10 for free, you better do so within the next 2 months.
