A new post on the Microsoft blog reveals that the Redmond-based company has HoloLens in 29 additional markets starting today.
This means that HoloLens is now available in 39 markets, having initially been available in only 10 countries. It should be noted that the product is only for developers and businesses.
The official announcement of Microsoft he says:
In addition to describing our vision for a mixed reality in the modern workplace, we also announce that HoloLens is coming to 29 new markets in Europe.
Microsoft expects mixed reality to change the way we work in the near future. They expect information workers to benefit significantly from HoloLens, which enables them to combine physical and digital reality.
HoloLens is expected to receive a new update early next year, with improvements based on feedback from existing users of the new technologys.
We are also trying to bring some improvements to the software of HoloLens that have been requested from us by our existing customers. We are committed to offering an update to our existing customers early next year.
It should be noted that HoloLens remains exclusively available to developers and businesses. The commercial suite and development version of HoloLens can be downloaded from the Microsoft Store.
