MX linux 17 RC1: MX Linux, a Linux distribution based on the Debian firmware. The distribution came from a collaboration between its communities antiX and MEPIS Linux which has stopped growing.
Uses Xfce DE as the default desktop, and is one functional system that combines an elegant and efficient desktop with simple settings, high stability, stable performance and a minimal footprint.
In short, it's a fairly light distribution that does not sacrifice quality.
Today the developers of project MX announced the release of Release Candidate 1 in ISO files, and of course I could not resist the temptation!
If you are a friend of the distribution or if you just want to try it, you can download the ISO from the following links:

The result was something I expected from the distribution, as we are not used to mediocrities. So far I have not discovered any bugs, and the new additions have excited me:
4.13.0-1 kernel with updated packages, including LibreOffice 5.4.1
Themable Notifications and new updated MX-apps
MX-tweak has replaced MX-defaultlook
MX-network-assistanct replaces MX-broadcom-manager and MX-tools have a larger interface
The MX-iDevice-mounter came for your iPhone and other Apple devices. The update brings support for HDPI and XHDPI arc-themes.
These and many more from the MX team.
More details can be found at publishing announcement of the project.
But I must mention the new appearance of the distribution separately:
and of course you can take a look at MX Tools
The distribution, from installation it will search your computer and automatically install the drivers you need. Immediately after installation you can run MX Tools and you will install with one click all the codecs you need.
