Microsoft's latest move will surely please developers using Windows 10. The company has a application-OpenSSH client in its latest operating system.
The software is available in beta form in the Fall update Creators and as seen in the video below from the ServeTheHome, is quite easy to install:
The above news means that developers will no longer need to use applications third-party tools such as PuTTy, whenever they want to SSH into a remote server. They will be able to very easily use an official tool supported by Microsoft, through the Windows command line.
As it turns out, this is another great move from Microsoft, which is increasingly serving the needs of developers.
In recent years, the company has made the .Net framework open source, and added Linux (Ubuntu and Bash) to Windows 10.
So a native OpenSSH client is a very welcome move.
