The above news means that developers will no longer need to use applications third-party tools such as PuTTy, whenever they want to SSH into a remote server. They will very easily be able to use one officially tool supported by Microsoft, through the Windows command line.
As it turns out, this is another great move from Microsoft, which is increasingly serving the needs of developers.
In recent years, the company has opened source the .Net framework, and added Linux (Ubuntu and Bash) to Windows 10.
So a native OpenSSH client is a very welcome move.
