ParrotSec or Parrot Security OS offers many tools for content analysis on the web and computer systems. It is a workshop for Digital Forensics, with legally recognized tools that work with cryptography, offering many possibilities. In addition, it allows you to surf and work anonymously.

Parrot 3.10 is based for the first time on its test distribution Debian GNU / Linux 10 "Buster", and uses Debian Testing repositories. with a Linux kernel 4.xx customized for more security. Distribution is rolling release.

The new Parrot Security OS 3.10 version comes with Linux Kernel 4.14 LTS, which will be supported for a few years, as well as Firefox (57.0) of the Mozilla Foundation. The well-known browser is accompanied by a custom profile ParrotSec specifically for distribution.

Among the hacking tools included in this release, we can mention the Metasploit Framework 4.21, and Maltego 4.1, which is made up of the Maltegoce and Casefile tools.

The interface is MATE, a fork of Gnome 2, and the default display manager is a LightDM.

The program is certified to run on systems that have at least 265Mb RAM and is suitable for both 32bit (i386) and 64bit (amd64).

It also has a special version that works on old ones 32bit (486) eyes. Additionally, the program is available for armel and armhf architectures. It also has a version (32bit and 64bit) developed for servers to perform Cloud pentesting.
