Windows 10: Offer for free upgrade still valid

Microsoft was supposed to stop the free upgrade to Windows 10 with assistive technologies on December 31, but it looks like the window still exists, allowing anyone interested to install on the company's latest operating system without paying.Windows 10

Microsoft used to allow anyone to upgrade from Windows 7 and .1 on Windows 10 for free for the first 12 months after the operating system was launched in July 2015.

The free version of the operating system, although it expired a year later, continued to apply to systems with assistive technologies, allowing free upgrades to Windows 10 again, but without any substantial control.

The company also states on its page:

If you use assistive technologies, you can upgrade to Window 10 for free as Microsoft continues its efforts to improve the Window 10 experience for people using these technologies.

With the Anniversary In Windows 10, we've taken a few steps to improve the accessibility of Windows 10. To learn more, read the blog that describes some of these improvements in detail.

Before upgrading, contact the assistive technology provider to learn more about the compatibility of their software with Window 10.

If you want Windows 10 now and you are ready to take advantage of the upgrade offer, select the following to get started.

Yes, I use assistive technologies and I'm ready to upgrade to Window 10. *

Today, however, the offer is still available and allows free installation of Windows 10 from Windows 7 and 8.1.

It should be noted that it is very likely that Microsoft will block in the coming days as technicians will have to return to work from vacation and fix the upgrade page. On the other hand, this omission is well suited to the goals of Microsoft, which wants to install the operating system on as many PCs as possible.

But if you need a cheap one for Windows 7, or 8 to be allowed the free update read the post below.
