and Spectre: As all directly involved companies (Intel, AMD and others) have started releasing CPU updates affected by the Meltdown and Specter vulnerabilities, OEMs and motherboard manufacturers are not left behind and are starting to release BIOS/UEFI updates for the infected computers.Meltdown

Although not all companies have patches for vulnerable products, most of them have promised updates in the coming months.

These BIOS / UEFI updates are part of the Meltdown and Specter vulnerabilities that appeared earlier this year.

OS-level software fixes have largely fixed Meltdown, but both Microsoft and the Linux community have said that a firmware solution would be needed to fully address the Specter vulnerability.

Those of you interested can use the links below (compiled by bleepingcomputer) to visit the centers company's products and download the BIOS/UEFI updates if their computer uses a vulnerable CPU.

Dell BIOS updates available for desktop, notebookAnd servers.

Gigabyte BIOS updates, just click on the order of your motherboard
HP BIOS updates for almost half of the company's products.
Huawei The company only displays the affected products, without updates.
