Google has released the developer preview of the new Android P

Google just announced Android P, the next big thing του κινητού της λειτουργικού συστήματος. The company said it would continue to update the beta version and release new builds often, and promised more news in May through this year's Google I / O.

Google has reportedly added "Cut Cutout" support to Android P, which means that the annoying notch on the iPhone X will be available on Android as well. The new tools available for developers can create applications that run automatically on any cutouts, without having to worry about displaying important navigation information or features.

But the new operating system brings updates to video playback and image compression. In Android P, Google adds support for HDR VP9 Profile 2 as well as HEIF. So developers will be able to integrate them into their applications. The same goes for a new multi-camera API that will be for devices with duals rear facing or dual front facing cameras.

One of the most remarkable features of the new Android P is new message alerts. So we'll see rich notifications work with current Android alerts that will come with more environments and potentially suggested answers.

Other remarkable features include the ability to monitor users indoors using the Wi-Fi Round-Trip Time (RTT) service, as well as improvements to auto-completion, API Neural Networks and battery performance.
