The Debian Development Team has released the fourth point release of Debian 9. In the new Debian 9.4, all the latest patches are included. So if you have already installed Debian 9 then you do not have to download any of the new ISO, just update your system.
In their announcement, the Debian project he says:
The Debian project is pleased to announce the fourth update of the Debian 9 fixed distribution (codenamed stretch). The point release mainly adds security fixes, along with some tweaks to serious issues. The security patches have already been published separately. ”
Some notable packages they have updates to resolve errors, included in this version, are the: anti-virus clamav, the cups printing software and the debian-installer which comes with a slightly newer kernel. The flatpak package system has also been updated to a newer version.
Security updates also received the following known software packages: Firefox, Thunderbird, Tor, Wireshark, OpenSSL, and Transmission.
