The Raspberry Pi Foundation released new Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+, featuring a faster CPU and faster wireless performance than its predecessor, the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B.
The Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ is coming right up two years after the release of the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B. The changes it brings don't warrant the name Raspberry Pi 4, but there are notable improvements, such as a faster processor, higher Wi-Fi speeds, and faster Ethernet.
The Pi 3 Model B + has a 1.4GHz processor 64-bit quad-core Broadcom Arm Cortex A53 while the processor of the Rascomberry Pi 3 Model B was the same but clocked at 1.2GHz.
It does not seem to change much, but it does bring a 15% performance improvement.
It also supports dual-band 2,4GHz and 5GHz wireless LANs, Bluetooth 4.2 and Bluetooth Low Energy.
Αυτή η κίνηση θα βοηθήσει να μειωθεί ο control compliance of the wireless LAN.
The Gigabit Ethernet of the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B + via USB 2.0 offers a maximum performance of 300Mbps.
