Google has sent an email to its G Suite customers informing them that it is preparing a new version of Gmail. The message for G Suite did not contain specific details, but revealed some key features that come with the update.
In short, he says:
- A new, clean look of Gmail on the web
- Easily access Gmail apps, like Google Calendar, through Gmail
- Smart answers on the Web, just like the mobile
- Possibility to "postpone" them messages email and choose when they reappear in your inbox.
- Support messages without connection
Google notes that these functions they will first reach registered G Suite customers in a program it calls Early Adopter [EAP], but will also be available for some personal Gmail accounts. We could perhaps see the new features in some beta program.
Support for Email offline, is scheduled to be released by June of 2018. This means that you will be able to write and read some emails without any internet connection.
A Google representative told Android Police:
We're working on some important updates in Gmail (still in the planning phase). We need a little more time, so we can not share anything yet.
Let's say we had heard of a redesign of Gmail since last year. At that time, Google had revealed that it would add some new features, such as smart answer, smart groupings and postponement.
With the redesign of the service, we will see if anyone is left using Inbox, as the majority of Gmail users use the application through browser. It's unclear exactly when the new GmaiI design will be released, but bets are on before the end of Google I/O next month.
Protonmail.
By far the best (for now).
The rest is "let's talk, let's cut turtles"…
