Apple is reportedly replacing the batteries of some 13-inch MacBook Pro following reports of a defect that causes the built-in battery to "swell".
Apple reports that the affected devices are MacBrook Pro that do not have a touch bar and were manufactured from October 2016 until October of 2017.
Device owners can determine whether they are entitled to battery replacement by entering the serial number of their product in the support page Apple.
The battery replacement program does not apply to the MacBook Pro 13 inch inch touch-screen or older MacBook Pro 13 inch models, according to Apple's announcement.
If someone now from the affected device owners bought a new battery, Apple will return the money.
