The following publication concerns installations that show bugs, and specifically the error with code 0xc1900101. We will see in detail what you can do in case your system update gets stuck and you get the above code.
To fix 0xc1900101 error, you will need to edit your Windows registry and this will require administrative rights. We always recommend that you back up your Windows registry before trying the following.
Fix 0xc1900101 Error
Before we begin you will need to remove any additional languages that you have added to Windows 10. You should have only one language on your system. There is no limit to which language it will be, but there must be only one. You can remove languages from the Settings application.
Open the application and follow the path Time & Language - Area & Language and select the language you want to remove. Repeat for all additional languages you have installed.
Immediately after that open the Windows Registry by typing 'regedit' in Windows Search. Alternatively you can open RUN by pressing the two keys Win + R together. When it opens type 'regedit' without the quotes and press enter to open the editor.
Follow the route:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Provisioning
Delete that under Provisioning. If you try to install the update again after that, it will proceed without problem. As for the keys you deleted, once the update is complete, they will be automatically added to the registry.
If you do not want to delete the keys, there is an alternative. Find a different system running Windows 10. In this system, from the same path, copy it there, save it somewhere, and replace the files in your system where you see the 0xc1900101 error.
That was, run the update again and this time it will install without problems.
