The developers of the powerful, free, open source digital painting software Krita have released its version applications Krita 4.0.2. The release has not been officially announced yet, but will be in the next few hours.
The Krita app is one Processor graphics which uses the Qt 5 and KDE 5 framework.
Krita is designed as an advanced digital painting application.
The Cross Platform application has been somewhat affected by closed-end software such as Corel Painter and SAI. The application packs along with some basic features some different features from most of its applications, including the ability to work with both bitmap and vector illustrations.
Application developers are also trying to simplify user interaction and focus on features that are more relevant to painting and drawing.
Krita is a free software distributed under GNU General Public License (version 2). It was originally released as part of KOffice version 1.4.0 on June 21, 2005.
The program can run in Windows environments (released in Windows Store), Linux, and Mac OSX for both the x64 or x86 architectures.
Caution: The app in Windows Store is charged.
