The release of the April 2018 update for the Windows 10 δεν είναι τελικά τόσο απλή υπόθεση, όσο η Microsoft πίστευε ότι θα ήταν. Εκτός από αναφορές σχετικά με blue οθόνες και σφάλματα, τώρα προστίθενται και αναφορές για κακή συνεργασία με δίσκους SSD της Toshiba.
Microsoft initially confirmed that "some" Intel SSDs were not compatible with new version of Windows 10 and on May 8, 2018 specified that the Appliances Intel SSD 600p Series and Intel SSD Pro 6000p Series.
But the two Intel SSDs were not the only devices that were not compatible with the new version of Windows 10. THE Woody Leonhard reported yesterday that (some) Toshiba SSDs were not compatible. Specifically the Toshiba XG4, XG5 and BG3 SSDs. Microsoft has confirmed this problem in the official answers forum.
Microsoft's recommendation for owners of these devices is to go back to the previous version of Windows 10 and wait for the release of a problem-solving version that the company hopes to release in June.
