Google: Internal video explains how he sees the future and will not like it

18/05/2018 10:20 by giorgos

Google has built a multi-billion dollar business, knowing everything about its users. Below you will find a video created by Google and posted by TheVerge. Our video shows the ambition of the company, something you will find very worrying, as it makes clear how Google executives envision using this information in the future.google fortune telling - Google: Internal video explains how he sees the future and will not like it

The video was created in late 2016 by Nick Foster, head of project X (formerly Google X) and co-founder of the Near Future lab. The video, released internally at Google, presents a future where with total data collection, Google will be able to help users align with their goals, but also guide the behavior of entire populations to solve global problems such as poverty and disease.

A Google X spokesperson sent the following statement to TheVerge:

We understand that it is annoying, because that is how it is designed to be. It's an experiment by the design team that took place years ago. Uses a technique known as "speculative design" to explore unpleasant ideas and concepts and to provoke discussion. It is not related to any current in a future product.

The title of the video is The Selfish Ledger, and it's a 9-minute film that will make you think.

    Do not adopt your opinions.
It will be something far from them, but close to our cowardice.
