Q4OS 2.5 Scorpion: Q4OS is a Debian-based Linux distribution designed to provide a Trinity Desktop Environment to a Windows user who is thinking of changing his operating system.
The distribution has simple accessories and provides stable APIs for complex third-party applications, such as Google Chrome, VirtualBox and various development tools. Note that the distribution is based on the Debian firm which means that the system is very reliable.
Q4OS 2.5 Scorpion
The new version of the 2.5 distribution, which was announced today brings a new look to the desktop since it uses a dark title bar. It kind of looks and feels like it leaves the theme Arc GTK+ and makes the Q4OS operating system more beautiful than the standard look offered by the Trinity Desktop Environment.
“Μια σημαντική ενημέρωση για το σταθερό LTS του Q4OS 2 Scorpion είναι άμεσα διαθέσιμη για λήψη. Η νέα σειρά 2.5 φέρνει μια ουσιαστική αλλαγή προσθέτοντας το KDE Plasma as another option along with the Trinity desktop. The new Q4OS is pre-configured for both desktops to coexist, while the installation system configures the system in the usual way, but then offers the possibility to install KDE Plasma if the computing resources are sufficient. The new Q4OS brings the new Firefox 60 and LibreOffice 6 applications, important security updates and bug fixes”
The OS now: is a fast and powerful operating system that offers an extremely productive interface, with security, reliability, long-term stability and conservative integration of verified new Linux features.
The system is distinguished by its speed and very low hardware requirements. It works perfectly with brand new machines as well as with old computers.
The system is also very useful for virtual cloud environments because of the very low hardware requirements.
From appearance to installation, everything is reminiscent of Microsoft's operating system. If you look at the images, you will notice that even the app installers appear to be from another platform…
Own encoders and drivers
On the welcome screen you will easily find the option to install “Multimedia Codecs ”but also guides. No problem, just click the button and a wizard will appear. With a few clicks on "Next" you will see the "Install" option to install your encoders and drivers.

I put it on my laptop these days, before I had kubuntu. I wanted to pass debian stable and as soon as I saw the look of this distribution, the wave of nostalgia hit me head on, since I grew up with windows xp. Debian is probably the best base and appearance is the most faithful imitation of xp on linux. Support.
Very interesting… I am happy with previous versions so the time has come and the new…
if you have not done it try MX
