1. Open the Editor registeru
2. Go to the following registry key.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ BackgroundAccessApplications
3. In the right pane, modify or if not create a new 32-Bit DWORD value with value name Migrated. (Note: Even if you are running Windows 64-bit, you must create a 32-bit DWORD value).
4. Set its value to 4 in hexadecimal.
5. Restart Windows 10.
This will solve the problem. The "Allow applications to run in the background" switch is now off.
