A survey conducted by the consumer group Which? reveals that at least 50% of all Windows 10 users have encountered a bug in the Microsoft operating system.
21% of respondents said compatibility problems software are most common on Windows 10, as their applications do not work properly or at all, while 16% report hardware problems, such as printers and speakers of their systems.
Other errors reported by users include email accounts post officey who no longer sync, personally archives that were lost, system slowdowns or even complete Windows destruction.
So Which? urges Microsoft to "respect the rights of its users and, if necessary, to pay compensation to those who have encountered a problem with the installation of Windows 10."
Which? says it has already contacted Microsoft to point out the growing number of complaints it has received from Windows 10 users, and Microsoft has said it will "consider the proposals."
“We want to make sure our customers get the right support they need to have a better Windows update experience. We will continue to review them themeof our customers on a case-by-case basis to ensure even one-on-one resolution assistance where possible. In addition to Which?, members are very important to us, so we are currently looking at ways we can work together in the future to ensure they get the support they need in an easy and fast way," Microsoft told Which? .
Which? on the other hand it says consumers should get quality updates, noting that patches don't work and they have problems, their computers need to be fixed free.
Users should also be able to choose whether or not to receive updates, which is not currently the case with Windows 10 Home.
