Intel today announced the resignation of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Brian Krzanich, invoked infringement of its politics companys. CFO Bob Swan will serve as interim CEO while the company searches for its next top executive.
The resignation of Krzanich was immediately implemented. Krzanich also resigned from his position on Intel's board. It appears that the company has a policy of zero tolerance for violations of the code of conduct and Krzanich according to a press release from the company:
Intel was recently informed that Mr Krzanich had a consensual relationship with an (an) Intel employee. An ongoing survey by internal and external consultants confirmed a violation of Intel's policy in the code of conduct, which applies to all administrators. Given our expectation that all employees will respect Intel's values and comply with the company's code of conduct, the board of directors has accepted Mr Krzanich's resignation.
Intel is still recovering from the damage caused by the flaws security Meltdown and Specter. Ένα τέτοιο σκάνδαλο, που μέχρι σήμερα διατηρήθηκε εσωτερικά, θα μπορούσε να σηματοδοτήσει προβλήματα στους μετόχους εάν το έμαθαν από τα μέσα informations.
Did we ever hear anything like this in Greece, or are they just happening out here?
