Google Chrome: Google has spent the last two years upgrading the UI of its suite of apps. So we recently saw a new design for the Google News , a revamped Calendar app and a new Gmail.
In April, the company announced the next app that was getting ready for a redesign: Google Chrome. I guess we should have expected it as Chrome is the most a popular browser in the world prevailing on 60% of market share on computers and mobile devices.
New appearance it's expected to go live for all browser users later in 2018. But if you're one of those who can't wait, below we'll see how you can get a preview of the upcoming design.
To unlock the preview of upcoming design in Chrome, we'll be troubling the flags. The result you see will appear in the next versions of Chrome. Flags are available on all platforms: Linux, Mac, Windows, and Chrome OS.
Open Google Chrome and type chrome: // flags in the address bar. Press Enter.
In the search bar at the top of the page, look for top-chrome-md.
Find the flag that says UI Layout for the browser's top chrome and select Hybrid from the dropdown menu.
In the second flag (appears directly below as you can see in the image) called Material Design in the rest of the browser's native UI from the dropdown menu select Enabled.
Either ready to restart your browser.
