The picture above shows that the Mini 2 is a bit bigger than a mouse, but in its basic configuration (costing $ 299) it has 4GB of RAM, a 64GB solid-state drive and the “Apollo Lake” series CPU.
For $50 more, you can get the Pro version, which has twice the RAM and more storage capacity (120GB). The MintBox Mini 2 has a USB 3.0 port and two USB 2.0, HDMI output and a Gigabit Ethernet port. 
If you don't prefer wired internet, the Mini 2 has 802.11ac Wi-Fi built-in, and Bluetooth support.
Of course, the most important thing is that the Mini 2 comes with it Mint 19 preinstalled. Distribution in the 19 version features the Timeshift system recovery feature.
Compulab is taking orders for the MintBox Mini 2 now, and the device is expected to start shipping in the middle of next month. The company also states that you will be able to order the new Linux PC via Amazon from August.
